Actually, I know of quite a few deaf people who speak quite normally. I know one personally. As I said in response to an earlier review, people who become deaf later on in life (as an adult) have spoken for so long that it comes naturally, language is subconscious. They're not articulatory masters, but for the most part you can't distinguish whether they're deaf or not. The main difference is simply that they're loud (as they can't hear themselves, volume control is difficult). And this guy seemed pretty loud.

But why are we discussing this anyway... it's just a cartoon...?
